Kiokya Cruickshank

Gospel artiste Kiokya Cruickshank hails from St. Vincent and the Grenadines and remains ready to continue to reach the World through her ministry glorifying God. Kiokya uses her God given gifts to minister words of Edification and Exhalation in every song.  Born in Guyana she arrived to the shores of St. Vincent & the Grenadines (SVG) at the age of three. Under the stewardship of the band “The Revival Players” she develop her craft with the band, which includes her rendition of “I Surrender All” at the tender age of 11, during a Ron Kenoly concert held at The Victoria Park in SVG.

Kiokya continued to lift high the name of Jesus as she competed in and won the first-ever Eastern Caribbean Digicel Rising Star Competition in 2005. With this she gained tremendous worthwhile local & regional recognition even once being heralded as the “Overseas Artiste of the Year”.  In 2009 Kiokya performed at a Gospel Music workshop in Nashville Tennessee that also had international gospel artistes Mrs. Yolanda Adams and Vicky Winnans who were also featured at the workshop. Amongst the media vehicles for which her works have featured includes BTC Flow TV, ZNS Bahamas, Our TV Caribvision TV, Tempo TV, CH 44 Africa, All Nations TV and BPEN TV. “Desperate for You” and “A Little More Fiya” remains amongst her many standout songs. Whether the world stage or the local church stage, Kiokya is pleased to offer her gifts unto the Lord.
