Asher Otto

Asher Otto grew up in the small community of Yorks with her Mother, two sisters and one brother. She attended T.N.Kirnon Primary School and The Antigua Girls High School. Her talent credits in school included a pre-school musical, singing second soprano in the school choir and placing second runner-up in 2009 and 2010 in the “Queen of the Forms”.

Her first musical influences included inspirational artiste such as Erica Badu, Alicia Keys, Jill Scott, Janelle Monae, Beyoncé, Lauren Hill and the Fugees. Incidentally, her voice has been compared to the likes of Grammy winners Lauryn Hill and Erykah Badu. Asher sees music as a means to make people happy as it serves as an excellent way of communicating with others. Asher’s debut album is now available on ITUNES and other digital platforms.

She currently sings with the band Itchy Feet travelling the Caribbean and even to New York to play at venues. They recently shared the stage with Tessane Chin, Rick Ross, Genuine,Third world, The Wailers and Jimmy cliff to name a few. Bio extracts courtesy www.asherotto.com
